America’s Pastime

1. AMERICA’S PASTIME

The Congressional Baseball Game will go as planned Thursday at Nationals Park Alexandria, Virginia. “This bipartisan event shows baseball’s power to bring people together,” the Nationals said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those wounded today and their families.” From CNN Politics: Congressional ballgame goes on despite shooting. (I read some of the comments on one of the Facebook Pages that the shooter was an active member of and the commentators there were blaming the gun, and saying that because Congressman Scalise was a Second Amendment supporter that he needed to be shot, that they wish it had killed him and other such stupid libtard type stuff. Goes to show the true mindset of the far liberal left.)

+ The Daily Caller: Daily Kos Co-Founder Blames GOP Shooting On Republicans — Not Left-Wing Shooter. (Another typical reaction from the Democratic left – blaming the victims.)

+ Also, from The Daily Caller: Steve Scalise In ‘Stable Condition’ After Being Shot. (Glad to hear he is going to make it through this unfortunate ordeal and keeping my fingers crossed hoping that he doesn’t do a “Gabrielle Giffords” on the Second Amendment.)

+ From WMD: Michael Savage – ‘We are at a boiling point. There’s going to be a civil war‘. (As much as I hate to think about it I believe he might be correct and it’s not going to be pretty – death and violence never are.)

+ What others are saying – America’s at the Doorstep of Civil War- Mike Adams and Dave Hodges.

+ From the Hill: Security fears grow on both sides of the aisle. Members of Congress are debating whether it’s time to adopt new security procedures after the shooting at a Republican baseball practice in Virginia. (More security, that we taxpayers will have to foot the bill for… but our own security, as usual, is left up to us.)

+ And some “Republicans” blame Trump for the shooting. From The Hill: GOP Rep Mark Sanford (R-S.C.): Trump partially to blame for the hostility that led to lawmaker shooting.

2. LONDON INFERNO

London fire – death toll reaches 17 as fire chief says it would be a miracle to find anyone else alive in Grenfell Tower amid fears ‘more than 100’ could have died in the inferno. Report from The Sun: Inside The Tower Tomb. EMERGENCY crews “fear more than 100 people could have died” in the Grenfell Tower inferno as the fire chief revealed it would “be a miracle” to pull anyone out alive – as the official death toll reached 17.

+ AP: London residents demand answers in deadly high-rise blaze.

+ From The Independent: Grenfell Tower fire is ‘corporate manslaughter’ and arrests must be made.

3. NAZI ESCAPE TO ARGENTINA

It’s becoming almost common knowledge that many high-ranking Nazi officials escaped capture after WW2 by bugging out to Argentina and more proof of that are being found to this day. From the Israel, National News: Nazi objects from WWII uncovered in Argentina. (One of the best documentary TV shows about this that I’ve watched is Hunting Hitler – folks, Hitler did not die in the bunker as we’ve been told.)

4. POSTAL

Police say that four people have been killed, including the gunman, after a shooting at a UPS facility in San Francisco. Two people were also injured. Reported by ABC Eye Witness News: 4 dead, 2 injured in San Francisco UPS facility shooting. (This looks like a case of workplace violence and not a typical act of terrorism. Sad, and horrific either way. Praying for the victims’ families and loved one – how awful they must feel.)

+ The guy must have really hated working overtime – Reports the BBC: San Francisco UPS gunman ‘had complained about overtime’.

+ CBS News: UPS gunman targeted his victims, witnesses say.

5. RHODE ISLAND UNDER ATTACK

From The Daily Mail: ‘We thought we were dying!’ Rhode Island residents left terrified after secret special-forces exercise sees helicopters cutting up tree branches and EXPLOSIONS going off near their homes. (This type of training should not be allowed near civilian areas, especially without prior warning. But as some have suggested it could be a “training exercise” for the general population to get them used to living under a state of martial law and the resulting military action…)

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Gives Americans the Finger

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Gives Americans the Finger

As you’ve probably heard the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has followed previous court rulings blocking President Trump’s “travel ban” from six of the top “Jihadist producing countries”. The Trump administration wants the ban in place because there isn’t any reliable way to vet people coming into the U.S. from any of these places so the best and most effective way to prevent potential terrorists from slipping into the U.S. would be a complete ban on travel from those six countries.

Sadly, while I support the ban I’m not sure how effective it would be at preventing terrorism because we have hundreds of thousands of potential terrorists already here in the U.S. from those same six countries that’s on President Trump’s travel ban list. And let’s not forget how easy it is to cross over into the U.S. via the U.S. and Mexico “border”. If ISIS or other terrorist group wants to come into the U.S. they can get into the country travel ban in place or not… but let’s not make it easy for them.

Now it comes to the final showdown via the supreme court – Reuters: Trump eyes Supreme Court after appeals court rejects travel ban.

2. Killing a President

The wacko far liberal left can’t help but play out their sick fantasies of assassinating President Donald J Trump. Failed “comedian Kathy Griffin is the first to come to mind with her “beheading of President Trump“, then the moronic “music video” of Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. AKA “Snoop Dogg” shooting President Trump in the Head. And now we have New York theater executive Oskar Eustis producing a twisted theatrical version of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar where a stand in for President Trump is stabbed to death. 5. Look for Food Prices to Increase

Like we needed more reasons to prep – The USDA just released new numbers for losses after the out of season blizzard and unseasonable cold-rolled across the main wheat-growing region of the USA., the numbers of now are at least 25% loss of the winter and red wheat crops. President Trump, Dance of Joy

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. Dance of Joy

President Trump goes to his Twitter declaring “total and complete vindication” after the Comey Show yesterday, he also said Comey is a leaker. And I have to agree that Trump has a lot to be happy about after Comey’s testimony which amounted to a whole lot of nothing and Comey himself admitted to leaking information to the press through a friend.

+ He also revealed that Loretta Lynch ordered cover-up of Hillary Clinton criminal investigation.

+ Meanwhile… Comey whines saying that Trump administration ‘chose to defame me’.

2. One Second After

Several Russian generals admitted in 2004 that several designs for a “super EMP nuclear weapon” had been transferred to North Korea and that Pyongyang, was only a few years away from developing super EMP capability. While the most likely target for an EMP attack from North Korea would be Japan or South Korea an attack on the U.S. is indeed possible.

“North Korea could make an EMP attack against the United States by launching a short-range missile off a freighter or submarine or by lofting a warhead to 30 kilometers burst height by balloon,” wrote Mr. Graham earlier this month on the security blog 38 North. “Even a balloon-lofted warhead detonated at 30 kilometers altitude could blackout the Eastern Grid that supports most of the population and generates 75 percent of US electricity. Moreover, an EMP attack could be made by a North Korean satellite.” Two North Korean satellites currently orbit the earth on trajectories that take them over the U.S.

I love the “sonic boom” of exploding tannerite! Shooting a few pounds and seeing and hearing the resulting explosion is most exciting especially if you’re this guy who almost dies when he shoots a refrigerator full of the stuff.

5. Hold the Ketchup

Tests reveal that, although Heinz boasts over 60% tomato as an ingredient, there was only 21% tomato concentrate in each bottle. Health Nut News: Israel bans Heinz Ketchup because it’s linked to liver, pancreas, immune system, and brain issues. Like nearly every other food item being sold and mass marketed to the public there are health risks and it’s better to grow and make your own.

I’ll Be Dead In a Week

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. If That’s the Case Then I’ll Be Dead In a Week

According to a new study by Researchers at Michigan State University having friends is more important than family for our long-term health. I have to call B.S. on this – yeah, friends are important but ones family members can also be ones best friends and allies. Study Finds: Friendship More Important For Health Than Family As We Age, Study Finds.

+  And another study that contradicts the one above – Closeness to Family, Not Friends, Helps You Live Longer.

2. An Easy $10,000 From WikiLeaks

I reported here yesterday about Reality Leigh Winner, the 25-year-old federal contractor who worked for Pluribus International Corporation and was arrested on Saturday for leaking classified information to the media. Well the latest is that she was double-crossed by the Intercept reporter who took the classified info she possessed and then promptly turned her into the FBI who then proceeded to charge her with espionage. Well, the whole thing seems to have hit a nerve with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange who is now offering a $10,000 bounty aimed at getting a reporter for The Intercept fired. The Hill: WikiLeaks offers $10,000 to get Intercept reporter fired.

+ Accused leaker wanted to ‘resist’ Trump – now she will most likely be resisting from a prison cell. They are claiming that she leaked “Top Secret Level” information – my question is how did a low-level contractor get her hands on “Top Secret Level” in the first place? My guess would be that someone higher up used her as a patsy to release the info for them and to take the fall for it.

+ They are going to make me disappear Reality Winner tells her mom before federal agents arrested her Saturday at her mother’s home in Augusta.

+ Everything You Need to Know About Wikileaks.

+ A former U.S. intelligence contractor tells Circa he walked away with more than 600 million classified documents on 47 hard drives from the National Security Agency and the CIA, a haul potentially larger than Edward Snowden’s now infamous breach. Circa: Did the FBI have evidence of a breach larger than Snowden? A lawsuit says yes.

3. Creeping Death

Just as health departments across the nation are warning that this year’s milder winter brings an especially high threat from ticks in the spring and summer, federal health officials say two new cases of a tick-borne illness that kills 1 in 10 infected have been reported in Maine. WND: Creeping death: Tick virus spreads across U.S.

4. Real Estate Website Urges Buyers: Move to TX If You¹re Conservative!

The website Conservativemove.com is urging right-leaning residents from blue states, to move to the Lone Star state. The website tag line reads “Helping Families Move Right.” CBS: Real Estate Website Urges Conservatives To Buy Texas Homes.

+ However,  Freedom In The 50 States.org lists Texas at only #28 in its overall freedom rankings. My state of Tennessee ranked in at #6  in the rankings with the number one spot going to New Hampshire.

5. It’s Not as Much Fun When It’s You’re The Ones Being Spied On

Some conservatives on Capitol Hill think intelligence sources could leak information on them too, as they did on former national security adviser Michael Flynn and now are seeking to limit the illegal spying capabilities of federal spy agencies. McClatchy DC: Republicans worried about leaks consider cutting back surveillance authority.
