The Warped Mind of the Lunatic Left

Real News Daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a quick summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

Marcella Arguello, a standup comedian and a writer for Bill Nye Saves The World on Netflix, tweeted in the wake of the Congressional baseball shooting that the deaths of “a few old ass conservative white men” were a worthwhile risk if it led to gun control. As reported by our friends over at Breitbart: Bill Nye Show Writer Ready to Accept Deaths of ‘Old Ass Conservative White Men’ If It Sparks Gun Control Debate. (It has been said before and yes it’s true, liberalism is a mental disorder, just like being “transgender, ” but that’s another issue.)

Iran has been landing some decisive and deadly blows to Daesh, ISIL, ISIS, Al Qaeda, or whatever you want to call them after ISIS claimed responsibility for the recent attack in Iran that killed 12 and wounded 46 more. Politically, it’s tough to see a clear constituency for this bill, apart from the most wealthy voters who will appreciate its rollback of Obamacare’s tax increases. From Ross Douthat via The New York Times: From Worse to Bad on Health Care.

+ GOP agrees on one thing:  Obama care taxes must go.

+ From the man who should be President – Rand Paul: ‘If you offer me a 90 percent repeal, I’d probably vote for it‘.

+ Of course, they don’t. Senate bill lets many people drop health coverage, and insurers don’t like it. (Why doesn’t the federal government just get out of the healthcare racket altogether instead of just rewording some of the current requirements of Obama’s already failed health care law and tax? Because let’s face the fact that no matter how they word it we are going to get the screwed, and not in a good way.)

More than 4,000 Alabama Power customers were without service this morning in several cities across the state. Those power outages affected customers in the Anniston, Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Tuscaloosa areas following storms that left behind damage and flooding since Thursday when Tropical Storm Cindy first made landfall in Louisiana and Texas. The storm claimed two lives in Alabama, including a 10-year-old Missouri boy and a 57-year-old man. Tornadoes also were reported in the Birmingham and Fairfield areas. And It Gets Worse

Real News Daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a quick summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

Senate Republicans have finally revealed their plan to revamp the Affordable Care Act. Now, they’re just trying to pass it. There will be lots of twists and turns along the path to an expected vote next week — and it’s by no means assured the GOP will get there. Senators. Ted Cruz of Texas, Mike Lee of Utah, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rand Paul of Kentucky — said outright they’d cast their votes against the bill without further rollbacks to Obamacare. Paige Winfield Cunningham reports in the Washington Post: The Health 202: McConnell will be a legislative wizard if health care passes.

+ What To Expect in the Senate Health Care Bill.

+ Rand Paul told reporters that the bill “looks like we’re keeping Obamacare, not repealing it. Says; Insurance should be available for $1 a day.

+ What the health insurance industry wins and loses in the Senate health care bill.

+ It looks like women have been entirely left out of the new health care law – so much so that even the word “women” literally never appears in the US Senate’s 142-page health-care bill.

And another Hollywood moron speaks and threatens to kill an American President – this time it was Johnny Depp. Freedom of speech is great but publicly threatening to kill someone goes beyond free speech and threatening to kill the president of the united states is a class E felony and can carry up to a five-year prison sentence. Of course, Depp isn’t going to attempt to assassinate Donald or anyone else. He’s just another spoilt celebrity that’s starved for attention and stirring up controversy to get it, just like other before him. The danger is that other people who are dumb enough to look up to these idiot celebrities might try – think James Hodgkinson. What’s the solution? To make an example of one of these celebrities and the best way to do that is to prosecute and convict.

A mistrial has been declared for the second time in the case of a white police officer who shot dead an unarmed black motorist in Ohio two years ago. Via The BBC News Service: Second US mistrial in Ohio police shooting of Samuel DuBose. (The guy was stupid for trying to drive away. However, it’s easy to see that he was no threat to the police officer or anyone else at that point when he was shot in the head by Officer Ray Tensing. The police should have to go by the same rules for using deadly force as the rest of us. I ask you what would happen to you if some guy stopped in the road as you were walking cursed you and then started to pull out and leave but you stop him from leaving by shooting him in the head. Yes, you would be serving a lengthy prison sentence. And the fact that the officer was white and the victim was black had nothing to do with it – no doubt the trigger happy officer would have just as quickly shot and killed a white man, but then most white men would have cooperated with the police and been on their way in a few minutes.)

Beating A Dead Horse

Real News Daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a quick summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

For the past eight months, we have consistently been bombarded by the mainstream media about Trump colluding with the Russians during the last presidential election. The Democrats keep pushing it, and the mainstream media is more than happy to keep “reporting” on it even though it’s a huge basket full of nothing. But, the big question is how do Trump supporters feel about the whole thing? They don’t care – do you? Reported by the BBC News Service: Trump voters on Russia investigation: ‘Not bothered.’

+ Guns and Roses – Beating A Dead Horse.

+ Trump says he did not tape conversations with former FBI head Comey.

+ US intelligence chiefs say they did not feel pressured by Trump.

+ And we can’t mention “the Donald” without mentioning health care reform – Senate Republicans release Obamacare replacement bill, fate uncertain.

A sniper in the Canadian special forces shot and killed an Islamic State (IS) fighter from a distance of 2.1 miles in Iraq. The shot, which sources tell the paper was filmed, is thought to be a record for the longest confirmed kill. Reported by the U.S.A. today: Canadian sniper has shattered the world record for the longest confirmed kill in history. (Impressive! In my area, needing to shot anywhere near that distance while hunting is unheard of with most shots being well under 200 yards. But I’m good out to 500+ yards if needed.)

The Washington Post takes another jab at the Second Amendment with their article by Scott Clement entitled “44 percent of Americans know someone shot by a gun, and they’re just as divided about guns as the rest of us“. I’ve known a few unfortunate folks who have been shot by someone with a gun but I don’t know of anyone that’s ever been shot by a gun.  The Washington Post is using a play on words to demonize the gun and to plant a picture in readers brains that somehow the gun itself is evil and at fault. News flash Scott Clement – firearms are inanimate objects and have no ill intent of their own, that comes from the person behind the hand that holds it.

+ And from ABC News: America’s Relationship With Guns? New Research Shows It’s Complicated. No, it isn’t – the only thing difficult about America’s relationship with guns is how we can afford to buy more guns.

+ And from McClatchy DC: About a third of gun owners with children keep guns unlocked and loaded, study says. (When I was growing up we had guns all over the house, and yes, they were all loaded and ready to go and guess what… no one was shot, but then my brother and I were raised around guns had proper training with firearms, their use, and safety.)

There are now an estimated 700 grizzlies in the area that includes northwestern Wyoming, southwestern Montana, and eastern Idaho, leading the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to conclude that the population has recovered. Grizzly bears once numbered about 50,000 and ranged over much of North America. Their population plummeted starting in the 1850s because of extensive hunting and trapping, and the bears now occupy only 2% of their original territory. Reports The LA Times: U.S. officials to lift Yellowstone grizzly bear protections. (I’ve not been fortunate enough to have ever seen a grizzly bear in the wild but have I’ve seen a number of black bears but then the estimated black bear population my state is over 6,000 so seeing one isn’t all that rare of an occurrence here.)

+ What to do if you see a black bear – Being too close may promote aggressive behavior from the bear such as running toward you, making loud noises, or swatting the ground. The bear is demanding more space. Don’t run, but slowly back away, watching the bear. Increase the distance between you and the bear. The bear will probably do the same.

Nasa’s Kepler space telescope has discovered over 200 potential planets. Nasa scientists released a comprehensive catalogue, listing 219 new planet candidates, 10 of which are “near-Earth size and orbiting in their star’s habitable zone”, indicating that they could play host to alien life. Kepler’s latest discoveries bring up the total number of potential planets found by the space telescope to 4,034, of which 2,335 have been verified as exoplanets. Reported by International Business Time: Nasa discovers 10 Earth-like potential planets that could host alien life. (In my humble opinion they have already discovered life on other planets but have decided not to inform the general public of their findings.)

An armed Russian fighter jet buzzed a U.S. Air Force reconnaissance aircraft in the Baltic Sea on Monday, two U.S. officials told Fox News. Is Russia Preparing to Attack The US

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

Shortly after the US-led coalition shot down a Syrian Su-22 plane Sunday, Russia has issued a stern warning to the U.S. that “Any aircraft, including planes and drones belonging to the international coalition operating west of the Euphrates river, will be tracked by Russian anti-aircraft forces in the sky and on the ground and treated as targets,” the Russian defense ministry warned. BBC News Service: Syria conflict: Russia issues warning after US coalition downs jet. (Will Russia shoot down an U.S. military aircraft if it breaks the “rules”… probably. But the big question is what happens when they do? How will the U.S. respond and then how will Russia respond to the U.S. response? It’s a domino effect that could very well lead to World War Three… or is it just posturing by Russia attempting to look tough to the world?)

+ Russia to treat US jets in Syria as ‘targets’ after America guns down first Syrian warplane. (I don’t recall the Syrian government inviting the U.S. government or any so called “coalition” forces into their country or their asking for “help” from the U.S. government in the “fight against ISIS” so what are we doing there? And why are they shooting down Syrian military planes over Syrian airspace? To Put it into perspective… imagine if another country, say, China came on U.S. soil without being invited and started shooting down U.S. planes.  It’s not about “defeating ISIS” – see the link below.)

+ Why is USA interfering in Syria?  (And the Middle East in general?)

+ REPORT: Israel has reportedly been discreetly supporting Syrian rebel groups for years in order to protect its northern border from the war raging in Syria.

(London has had its share of Islamic terrorist attacks targeting non-Muslims in recent months – three attacks in three months to be exact – well it seems that the latest attack was carried out by a 48-year-old white man who had, apparently had enough and wanted to return the carnage so he ran a van through a crowd of Muslims heading home from a mosque where they were celebrating Ramadan. What was the trigger? Was it that he knew or was related to one or more of the victims of the previous attacks that’s taken place over the course of the past few months? We’ll probably never know that detail but I think it’s likely.) Read the article at The Daily Beast: One Dead, 8 Hospitalized as London Terror Attack Targets Muslims Leaving Prayers.

Seems to me that a better solution would be to go after the gangs and their leadership directly instead of worrying about enacting more gun control laws that have already proven not to work.) Tragedy, Deadlocked & Wedding Bells

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

A major search operation is under way for seven missing US sailors after their ship collided with a merchant vessel off the coast of Japan. The collision occurred near Yokosuka, which is home to the US 7th Fleet that comprises up to 80 submarines and ships, including the USS Fitzgerald. It is unclear where the 154-metre (505ft) guided missile destroyer ship was heading at the time. Japan’s coastguard is co-coordinating the search with US teams for the seven missing crew members, who have not yet been publicly identified. As reported by the BBC News Service: USS Fitzgerald crash: Race to find seven missing navy crew. The Blame Game

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

President Donald Trump’s violent rhetoric is “a problem” that has led to a great division in the country, a Republican congressman told CNN Thursday. “The blame can go on the Republican side, it can go on the Democrat side, but when the President says to somebody in the audience, ‘I wish I could hit you in the face. If not, why don’t you do it and I’ll pay your legal fees,’ we ought to call it for what it is. That’s a problem,” South Carolina Rep. Mark Sanford told CNN’s Anderson Cooper at the Congressional Baseball Game. From Eugene Scott on CNN News: GOP lawmaker: Donald Trump’s violent rhetoric is ‘a problem’. (Apparently, Rep. And, like other saturated fats, studies show it can increase “bad” cholesterol. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Gives Americans the Finger

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Gives Americans the Finger

As you’ve probably heard the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has followed previous court rulings blocking President Trump’s “travel ban” from six of the top “Jihadist producing countries”. The Trump administration wants the ban in place because there isn’t any reliable way to vet people coming into the U.S. from any of these places so the best and most effective way to prevent potential terrorists from slipping into the U.S. would be a complete ban on travel from those six countries.

Sadly, while I support the ban I’m not sure how effective it would be at preventing terrorism because we have hundreds of thousands of potential terrorists already here in the U.S. from those same six countries that’s on President Trump’s travel ban list. And let’s not forget how easy it is to cross over into the U.S. via the U.S. and Mexico “border”. If ISIS or other terrorist group wants to come into the U.S. they can get into the country travel ban in place or not… but let’s not make it easy for them.

Now it comes to the final showdown via the supreme court – Reuters: Trump eyes Supreme Court after appeals court rejects travel ban.

2. Killing a President

His Lips Still Firmly Attached to Obama’s Butt

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. His Lips Still Firmly Attached to Obama’s Butt

Well, folks, Sen. John McCain of Arizona has shown that he still has his lips planted firmly against former President Obama’s butt or maybe his whole head is stuck up there. John McCain needed to retire (or be voted out) years ago but here he still is shooting off from the mouth. No one cares what you have to say, just shut up and retire already. You’ve been a Senator since 1987 and now at the age of 80 don’t you think it’s time to shut up and retire already… Please…  CBS News: Report: Sen. McCain says U.S. leadership was better under Obama.

Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)

If you’re a rock fan from the 80’s like I am then you remember the Motley Crew song “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)” well it looks like that’s Vanity Fair’s not so subtle suggestion to Hillary Rotting Clinton when they ask; CAN HILLARY CLINTON PLEASE GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT? I’ve always thought of Hillary Rotting Clinton as being similar to what I’ve read about genital herpes in that she is always there waiting in the background and never really going away, and then when least expected there’s an outbreak of festering sores and itching. Maybe she should have been named Herpes Rotting Clinton?

ACT for America (which has over 525,000 members) is spearheading several anti-Sharia Law rallies across the country today and of course the “Southern Poverty Law Center” is screaming “racism” and calling ACT for America an anti-Muslim hate group. According to Medical Xpress Home, blood pressure monitors inaccurate 70 percent of the time. I questioned the accuracy of my home blood pressure monitor a few years ago so I took it with me to the doctor and checked the reading along with their check and there was only one point difference between the two. My blood pressure is normal by-the-way, however, most of my family tends to read on the high-side so I check mine every month or so to see where it is.
