Thanks MD! We all could use extra ways to bring in cash right now. :)

Quite a dilemma we are in right now. The suggestions you gave are good, and I hope it makes people to look at their own skill sets to decide on things that work for them. One thing some people could do is do clothing repairs if they have sewing skills. I have and industrial sewing machine from Sailrite (https://www.sailrite.com/) and have made sails and sail covers in the past. Now I consider awnings and bags and even tents as possibilities with my equipment. Upholstery is also possible with my setup. In the north, I have friends who do maple syrup in early Spring. In fall they harvest Chaga = seasonal gigs.

One warning sign on the crafts end of it. When we were young we did art fairs. Online selling has become the way now, but Etsy has announced they were laying off a lot of their staff. The big problem is that so many people are just spent out, credit cards maxed, so there will be retractions in a lot of demand across the board. But, just like in the great depression and the recessions that have happened through my life, not everyone goes broke, and not everyone will be trying to find home gigs to make money, so there is always opportunities to make a little extra.
