MD, is spent 42 years of my life as a long haul trucker. Every single day I came into contact with one form of law enforcement or another , and sometimes multiple agencies. I could write a book on the corrupt, lying, nefarious people who are given badges and the power to destroy other humans lives. I didn’t start out feeling like this. I’m an old boomer. I was raised to respect law stand that cops were our friends. Life, and constantly coming into contact with tact with them through my job, has taught me that very few cops are decent people. Unions protect the bad ones and that fact combined that somehow we’ve let cops “investigate” themselves in the event of brutality or worse accusations, when we should have a board of investigators made totally up of the people they police.

Backing police or anyone is situational. where I live the police are doing their jobs correctly. They are no nonsense with criminals, but I have not heard of any cases of unprofessional conduct. I also respect what a difficult and dangerous job they have. The occasional times I have been pulled over I am polite and follow their instructions. That goes a long way with them. Helps to always have you registration and license and insurance card up to date.

The guy in the video who got tased: I have 2 questions: Are the cops allowed to taser right on the spine? Our main nerve bundle runs in there. 2. Who was taking the video? another officer? or someone else, and wasn't it strange the cop did not tell that person to back away for both the the person and her own safety? The second video: That cop was a jerk and she was lucky she was only docked 10 hours of pay since the video made their department look bad.
