Thinking About Getting This EMP-Proof Solar Generator — Anyone Own One?
Lately I’ve been looking hard at the Grid Doctor 3300 EMP Solar Generator — and I’m seriously considering buying one.
Why?
Because unlike my other power units, this one is advertised as being EMP-hardened, which means I wouldn’t have to keep it locked away in a Faraday box all the time just in case something happens. I could actually use it when I need it — without worrying about losing it if an EMP or CME hits.
With rising tensions between the U.S. and BRICS, especially China, and all the talk about WW3 and cyber attacks on critical infrastructure, I think the risk of a grid-down event — including EMP — is higher than most folks want to admit.
I’ve already got backup solar and battery gear, but none of it is hardened without being kept in a Faraday box. That makes this unit stand out.
👉 Here’s the one I’m looking at…
It’s not cheap — but neither is replacing every piece of gear that gets fried in a blackout or EMP event.
So I wanted to ask:
Has anyone out there already bought one of these?
If you have experience with this system, hit reply and let me know what you think — I’d love your feedback before I pull the trigger.
And if you’ve been thinking about serious off-grid protection too, check out the Grid Doctor at the link above. (Using my link helps support what I do here — and I appreciate it.)
