A person who “passed gas” on an American Airlines plane on Sunday afternoon forced all passengers off the jet, officials said.

The incident happened when passengers on the flight became ill with nausea and headaches, according to a spokesperson with Raleigh-Durham International Airport. All the passengers were taken off the plane and after the incident was investigated it was determined that a passenger “passed gas,” the official said. Authorities later said that the incident was a “medical call” and directed all questions to Wake County EMS.

+ Update: Now American Airlines insists farty passenger wasn’t the cause of the emergency.

LMAO on this article. As a former aircraft mechanic on passenger jets there was something called the “Colester Bag” (SP) it was essentially where the outside air entered into the cabin pressurization system. We called them C****sucker bags because they were a B**ch to change. When they got wet after a while they would emit an odor and cause passengers to feel ill. They had to be replaced on a regular basis but because they were a pain to change and not a flight saftty item were sometimes skipped.
