Real News Daily. M.D. Creekmore provides a quick summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. THE WARPED MIND OF THE LIFT

Marcella Arguello, a standup comedian and a writer for Bill Nye Saves The World on Netflix, tweeted in the wake of the Congressional baseball shooting that the deaths of “a few old ass conservative white men” were a worthwhile risk if it led to gun control. As reported by our friends over at Breitbart: Bill Nye Show Writer Ready to Accept Deaths of ‘Old Ass Conservative White Men’ If It Sparks Gun Control Debate. (It has been said before and yes it’s true, liberalism is a mental disorder, just like being “transgender, ” but that’s another issue.)

+ Bill Nye “science guy” isn’t – from The Blaze: Can we stop pretending Bill Nye is a science guy already?

+ Watch: Bill Nye blows a gasket when a real scientist schools him on facts about “climate change.”

2. WHAT A LITTLE MAKEUP CAN DO

If you’re one of those guys (or girls) who watch porn, then you’ll be interested to see how your favorite female porn starlets look without their “war paint.” Photo slide show at Hooch: These Adult Film Stars Look SO Different Before And After Makeup. I’ve not watched any porn that since I was in my late teens and early twenties – I had to stop watching because of the carpal tunnel and forearm cramps in my right hand and arm, so I didn’t recognize any of the women but you might.

3. PAYBACK CAN BE A… WELL YOU KNOW

Iran has been landing some decisive and deadly blows to Daesh, ISIL, ISIS, Al Qaeda, or whatever you want to call them after ISIS claimed responsibility for the recent attack in Iran that killed 12 and wounded 46 more. Iran’s retaliation has been very effective thus far as reported by Aljazeera: Iran foils ‘plot to bomb religious centers‘.

+ Iran calls missile attack on Syria militants a wider warning.

+ Iran Kills ‘Mastermind’ of Terrorist Attacks.

4. FROM WORSE TO BAD ON HEALTH CARE LAW

Politically, it’s tough to see a clear constituency for this bill, apart from the most wealthy voters who will appreciate its rollback of Obamacare’s tax increases. From Ross Douthat via The New York Times: From Worse to Bad on Health Care.

+ Trump Says; He’s Not Worried About The Republican Holdouts On The Senate Health Care Bill.

+ GOP agrees on one thing:  Obama care taxes must go.

+ From the man who should be President – Rand Paul: ‘If you offer me a 90 percent repeal, I’d probably vote for it‘.

+ Of course, they don’t. Senate bill lets many people drop health coverage, and insurers don’t like it. (Why doesn’t the federal government just get out of the healthcare racket altogether instead of just rewording some of the current requirements of Obama’s already failed health care law and tax? Because let’s face the fact that no matter how they word it we are going to get the screwed, and not in a good way.)

5. PREPPING JUST MAKES SENSE

More than 4,000 Alabama Power customers were without service this morning in several cities across the state. Those power outages affected customers in the Anniston, Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Tuscaloosa areas following storms that left behind damage and flooding since Thursday when Tropical Storm Cindy first made landfall in Louisiana and Texas. The storm claimed two lives in Alabama, including a 10-year-old Missouri boy and a 57-year-old man. Tornadoes also were reported in the Birmingham and Fairfield areas. AL Alabama: Flooding, power outages and other fallout across Alabama from Tropical Storm Cindy.

+ Severe weather slams both coasts.

+ Meanwhile, Governor Seeks Disaster Help for Farmers.

6. WHAT A MORON

Manhattan prosecutor: Gun law reciprocity bill ‘supported, I am sure, by ISIS.’ (I for one have no desire or intention of ever going to New York so District Attorney Cy Vance need not lose any sleep worrying about me carrying a gun from the great state of TN to his over-populated crap-hole area with it’s 20 million plus people.)

7. PILL MILL

Sheila Bartels walked out of the Sunshine Medical Center in Oklahoma with a prescription for a “horrifyingly excessive” cocktail of drugs (a total of 510 pills to be exact) capable of killing her several times over. She was found dead later that day. A medical examiner concluded that she died of multiple drug toxicity and she isn’t the only one – four other who were “treated” by the same doctor has also died from multiple drug toxicity, and the doctor who prescribed the deadly cocktails has now been charged with second-degree murder. As reported by the Washington Post: A physician prescribed so many painkillers, she’s been charged with killing her patients, authorities say. (We have a “doctor” here in the county where I live that hands out opioids like they’re tictacs – he’s also the richest person in the county. Isn’t it strange how doctors legally prescribe opioids despite the danger of death and addiction? While marijuana (a plant that isn’t physically addictive nor can you die from an overdose while using it is illegal in most states and selling it will result in a lengthy jail sentence for the dealer they are if caught. )

From Yahoo Finance: Fungal toxins in the home can easily become airborne and be inhaled, says study.

9. WILL SUPREME COURT RULING ON TRAVEL BAN COME MONDAY… MAYBE.

As the U.S. Supreme Court heads into Monday, its last day of the current term, will we find out the final fate of President Donald Trump’s travel ban? Probably, and it will most likely be the same fate as handed down by lower courts previously. NBC News: Supreme Court Last Day: Waiting for Trump Travel Ban Ruling.

10. THE BOTTOM OF THE NEWS

There has been some confusion as to the meaning of “the bottom of the news” and the importance of what I post here. So, to clarify, what I post here isn’t to be considered the least important news of the day, it’s just the last news that I come across and publish for that day and thus the bottom of the news.

+ Father finds out son is still alive after burying what he thought was his body. Eleven days after laying his son to rest, Frank J. Kerrigan got a call from a friend. “Your son is alive,” he said.

+ Good! Nebraska Democrat fired for saying he was ‘glad’ Rep. Scalise was shot. “I hate this motherf***er. I’m f***ing glad he got shot. I’m glad he got shot, Democrat Phil Montag was recorded saying.

I personally will never set foot in any of the anti-gun states. I vote with my money, and they will never see a cent from me. I shop the same way. For example, when Target posted their no-no policy I stopped shopping there. Same with any business that doesn’t believe in our constitution. They do not get my business.

Sounds like a good way to build a supply for bad times to me and an easy way to keep the supply fresh.
